This class is a safe and fun class aimed at those new to the sport. The class teaches the juniors the basics of the sport such as how to stand, the different types of punches and kicks, how to use all the equipment, how to warm up and cool down.
In this class the children will also learn what is expected of them in terms of fitness and discipline, the class encourages self confidence and allows for the Junior members to enjoy the benefits of basic self defence. It’s fun!
A typical class will involve
- Skipping or jogging warm-up
- Warming up exercises
- Pad work in pairs
- Bag work
- Technique work
- Light controlled sparring
- Cool down and stretching exercises
